Guilt has a cousin, shame.
When you wish you had made a different decision, shame and regret move in.
Your past is not your story. God created your destiny. He came to save souls, heal brokenness, and offer lasting freedom.
Dawn Van Beck’s journey past shame is a raw, intimate exploration, marked by both uncommon vulnerability and a unique, sassy wit that shines through every step.
No devastating force of shame in your life is greater than God’s plan to redeem it.

About the Book
Deliver Me: Ditching Your Shame. Embracing God’s Freedom. is a book about the weight women carry in private, and about the God who never intended them to carry it at all.
Dawn writes from her own story, and she doesn’t tidy it up first. What she offers instead is a raw, intimate walk through her own journey past shame, told with uncommon vulnerability and the kind of sassy wit that makes a hard subject possible to sit with. This is not a book that asks you to try harder or believe better. It tells you the truth, stays with you in it, and then shows you the way out.

About the Author
I write for the woman who is silently convinced that what she did disqualifies her. I know her well, because I was her for a very long time.
My first readers found me through fun short stories I had posted on my own website, which is how I ended up published in the first place. Since then I’ve published several short story collections and two children’s books. Deliver Me is the book I actually needed to write.
Since the book’s release, I’ve led a book study on the book with women at my own church, and the conversations in that room are the reason I keep sharing my message. Shame gets quieter when it’s shared out loud in good company.
When I’m not writing, you’ll find me in sunny (and very hot) Florida rummaging through antique shops, getting silly with my grandchildren, or relaxing on my back porch with a good book.
